Uncle Eric will be greatly missed. He was always good natured and interesting to talk to –
he kept his sense of humour even when things were difficult for him.
Even if we had not seen him for ages he made us feel that he had an interest in what had happened in our life.
We will always be grateful for the kindness he showed to mom and Dad towards the end of their lives.
Farewell Uncle Eric – what a wonderful gent you were, I will always remember you. What fun you, Auntie Mim and Mum & Dad must have had. I recall a lovely pic of you taken at the the Ring-O-Bells in Yardley, Mum still has it in her collection – how handsome you were ! So great that you and Mum stayed friends for such a long time, I know she valued your friendship and will miss you.
It really was a privilege to know you,
Love Jayne XXX
A true gentleman, will never forget his kindness to mom and dad when they were ill and he had just lost Aunt Mim, a genuinely lovely man, rest in peace xxx
Eric and Mu were good friends of my mom and dad.
Happy memories of caravan holidays when my children were young.
In the latter years Eric was still interested in what you were doing and always had a sense of humour.
RIP Eric you will be missed xx
