Arrangements for the funeral of Gareth Owen
Thursday 19th August 1.00pm
Kingsway – Kings Heath
Many thanks for all the kind and moving messages that people have left on social media following the loss of Gareth. In this difficult time it’s been lovely to read through the tributes and memories. He will be missed by many!
For regular customers of the shop that would like to pay their respects, the whole funeral ceremony will take place At The Kingsway in Kings Heath on Thursday 19th August (no crematorium).
We will be holding the ceremony and saying farewell at 1pm so please arrive just before this time to prevent disturbances.
If you can’t make this time but would still like to join: family and friends will remain at the Kingsway from 2pm.
There will be no dress code so be as formal or casual as you like, and at the request of the family please don’t bring flowers but instead donate here to the RNLI and the British Liver Trust:
Please share this page with anyone you feel should be aware of Gareth’s funeral.
Gareth’s family welcome any tributes, words of remembrance and stories about him so do feel free to leave any messages at the bottom of this webpage. (Please note comments are moderated so do not go live immediately)
