Words fall short of expressing a 60 year friendship.
We all have fond memories of Yuonne from happy holidays to heated political debates and of course lots of laughter.
Yvonne’s love was her family, and in turn their love for her.
Gone but never forgotten leaving a big void in our hearts and lives.

Yvonne was a such a big part of my life and it doesn’t seem possible she is no longer here.
I remember such good times our families shared together, especially holidays in Woolacombe and visiting the beach when Yvonne would bring along her tupperware box full of little Welsh cakes which were delicious.
In latter years I would visit Yvonne at home especially during Covid Lockdown, when we would sit in her garden drinking coffee or having a cheeky G&T and put the world to rights.
She was interested in so many things from books, politics and travelling. But most of all she was immensely proud of her family.
I will miss her and her company greatly.
    Rest in peace Yvonne.

Yvonne was a very special aunt who was a key figure in my young days from when I was her bridesmaid at 3 years old ,teaching me to swim at 7 and then accompanying me to an important interview when I was 18.As I got older Yvonne was often part of my social life we loved the same holiday resorts and would chat at length about holidays in Woolacombe and Lindos.Yvonne and Dave’s house was always the last stop on Christmas eve when we would enjoy and few drinks and have a good laughs Yvonne was kind clever and I will miss our phone calls and popping in for a coffee she has always been there.

God bless you Yvonne I will miss you so muchxx

it’s a privilege to be able to call mum and dad very good friends for so many years they were so kind and genuine people were so fortunate to be able to share so many wonderful memories all of them with a great deal of warmth and most of them accompanied with lots of laughter especially mum negotiating the dreaded pebble ridge happy days thinking of you all.

Remembering Yvonne with such great memories our families both shared . Neighbour’s in Marie Drive all those years ago , The New Year Eves parties at Yvonne and Daves house doing the conga in the road and the many party games we all played .
Nights out at bingo , we talked so much we would miss the numbers called ! The fun we had going to keep fit classes at Fox Hollies .
The latter years we spent hours talking on the phone , reminiscing about the old days . We never lost touch .
Yvonne was a very good friend of mine and my families and will be so very sadly missed .

Remembering Yvonne fondly from both my childhood days when she kindly let me be a part of her lovely family holidays and as an adult when she was always kind caring and considerate whenever we’d met up .
A truly lovely lady who’ll be very sadly missed

Rach’s lovely mum. I know Yvonne’s wonderful work mostly from the beautiful, selfless, daughter she made in Rach. A family full of humour, fun and love. What a legacy. Sending love to all who will miss this lovely lady.

I have fond childhood memories of spending time with my Auntie Yvonne – especially when she used to take me swimming at Stetchford Baths!

She was a big part of my life.
