Fond memories of Mark coming to Listowel and eating all the goodies that were on offer. We will miss him always. Sympathies and love to you all. Marie, Ed and family in Listowel, Co. Kerry, Ireland
Mark was an inspiration to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. I will always remember his fantastic garden pub ‘The Doghouse’, drinking Welsh whiskey and watching Albion lose again. Amazing man.

Mark will be missed as we always had a chat up the garden in the summer.Andy and I often saw him sitting outside his dog house with his morning cuppa. He also enjoyed watching the football in his doghouse.Thinking of all your family at this sad time.Wendy Andy & Family
Mark a true gentleman lots of memories of walkabouts to various pubs including the Bell RoodEnd quite often, and great nights in the Doghouse watching football , and listening to SKA music while having a cider fest , or lager fest whichever came first , You will be missed by loads of people as you were the best , Night mate
I heard a lot about Mark’s tremendous strength from my friend, his Sister Diane. It amazed me how strong he was mentally with what he was faced with, always putting others before himself and helping them cope too.
My love goes out to all the family and will pray for strength for them all to cope in the days ahead, as Mark would dearly hope they do. God Bless You All.
Mark
I am truly inspired by your bravery and courage
And how your beautiful family have cared for you, they are a credit.
See you later my old pal, as you would say
Rest in peace Mark you are one of a kind xxxx
Uncle Mark.
Thank you for always being such a positive, outgoing, strong part of mine and everyone’s lives.
I always enjoyed seeing you and chatting and hearing stories about you. I wish I could have seen the Rocky Balboa tracksuit in person, as that is one of my favourite stories.
You fought so long and hard and we’re truly an inspiration until the end. Me and Laura were beyond thrilled that you not only came to our wedding last year, but were life and soul of the party.
Our son, who you said you didn’t expect to be around to hear about, but just kept going so you did, will hear about you and be an inspiration to him too.
Rest well and thank you.
Chris, Laura and Dougie
