Arrangements for the funeral of Leila Antony

Highbury Hall
Places are limited at Highbury Hall and we have now reached full capacity for Leila’s ceremony and celebration. We’re sorry to disappoint anyone.
For those who are coming, please arrive from 2pm. The ceremony will start at 2.30pm and will last around 45 minutes. Leila’s coffin will then sit in a separate room to enable everyone to say a personal goodbye, until 4pm, at which point everyone will follow her outside to cheer her onwards.
Everyone is invited to remain at the hall for refreshments and music, which will be playing late into the evening.
A private cremation will be taking place on the Monday following the ceremony.

Xx
Love you always my beautiful girl. We’ll give you the send off of the century and it’ll be amazing…amazing as you.
Thanks for being such a wonderful bestie for all those years/decades! 💗💗💗
I was gutted at first to not be able to come and say goodbye to you in person but I accepted it was what you needed to do. Then I also remembered!! you always used to bugger off without saying bye whenever we went out clubbing lol. I’d always end up asking at some point, “where’s Leils?!”, then I’d call to check you’re alright and nonchalantly you’d be, Yeh! I’m at home” 😂 or it’d be some random house party that I’d end up coming and joining. Ha. So why change the ways of a lifetime eh? Ha. 💜💜
A friend I was telling the story to the other day, said about it being the Irish goodbye…well I was in Ireland! Lol.
Love you infinitely
💜💜💜💜
Beautiful Leila you will never be forgotten & you will be forever missed ❤️ Xx
Every once in blue moon a person comes along who just touches the world in ways many others can’t. Someone who does not follow, but has so many followers. An inspiration, both in life and in your untimely passing . A truly unique soul who will be missed more than words can express.
Leila, my dear friend… I love you!
I very much hope to meet again on the other side.
Unable to travel up to Birmingham this day but both you & Rox remain deep in my heart from Lyme Regis summer holidays when you were both young.
Big love to all your family. RIP xx
The hardest part of knowing such an amazing person is saying goodbye to them. I am so grateful for our friendship, so grateful to have known you Leila. It hurts so much that you are not going to be here. I am so grateful for your last voice note and our last hugs. I am grateful you made so many memories with your boys and was such a fighter until the end. Love you so much my beautiful friend xxx
Lots of love to you ❤️
You will be forever in our hearts & thoughts. Rest in peace dear Leila
We came together as dog owner and dog borrower and we all clicked immediately. I have loved my time with you and Coops, sending you lots of pictures and regular pup-dates whilst out on our doggy adventures.🐶 We definitely parted as friends, sadly far too soon. Rest in Perfect Peace Leila! Coops and I missing you loads! 💔 X
Those early 2000’s in Birmingham shaped the future for lots of us, me included. You had the fire and the flames, we would have songs written and after 1 listen in the studio you would sing majestically on them. I’ll never forget that recording session at BBC’s Maida Vale, how you slayed it! I now play my children the songs you sang on and they love them, you will live on I’m sure through so many people, experiences and memories. Much loved, respected and admired.
Leila I feel so privileged to have known your beautiful, courageous, creative soul. We became mamas together nearly 11 years ago and as promised I will continue to be in your children’s lives. The pain for your loss is unbearable but I can feel you in the sunshine everyday. Sleep well beautiful lady 💜💜💜💜💜
Leila my pal.
Thanks for being such an inspiration.
I feel lucky to have spent the time that I did with you.
You are in my mind forever my friend.
