Arrangements for the funeral of Michael Fearon
Wednesday 17th June 2020 11.45am
Redditch Crematorium
Mike’s family attended a ceremony at Redditch crematorium on 17th June to say goodbye to him.
Sadly due to the current coronavirus pandemic, funerals are being limited to close family members only in a crematorium, so the service was restricted.
A live webcast of the service was available for those people who were unable to attend, and this webcast can now be viewed on demand.

Although I only knew Mike a few years I found him to be a most lovely genuine man, you will be sadly missed mate r.i.p x
He was one of the ‘fun dads’. I will never forget him teaching us all how to do shots with our hands behind our backs. He was genuine and clearly loved his family dearly. You will be missed Mike.
Fond memories of a larger than life man, with a mischievous humour. The Golf Society which really existed from one watering hole to the next, with a reserve always at hand mostly in the buggies.
We were devastated to hear the news of Mike’s passing . We have worked with Mike for years, and he was very well respected and thought of within TR Formac in Singapore and the TR Fastenings Group. A thoroughly decent man, and very fair in all of our business dealings.
Our thoughts go out to his Family and colleagues at this sad time
Endy, Matthew, Jeremy, Glenda and the TR Team.
Mike was such a genuinely warm hearted man, always ready to laugh with friends and family, always generous and empathetic. He’ll be remembered with huge affection.
We only met Mike a few times but he was so easy to get to know and with such a good sense of humour. Our thoughts and condolences to Irma and Mikes family
I was completely shocked by this news. I had just sent him a message when a former colleague told me what had happened: devastated.
I was fortunate to to work very closely with Mike for over 4 years, & he was my “coach” at Dyson.
We spent many evenings at the Crazy Elephant on Clarke Quay & at Chez Papa in JB.
He talked endlessly about his kids. He couldn’t wait for their visits, & at his request, I booked their rooms at the Mandarin using my former company rates…..
Loved his music, great sense of humour, brightened up the room.
Just a lovely man who will be missed by so many
His family has my deepest sympathy
warmest regards
ian
Mike was a great friend, business leader and mentor for our Dyson relationship. He had a unique ability to intertwine business and personal relationship. The world needs more good men like Mike.
He will be missed every day.
“You can shed tears that he is gone

I was very fortunate to know Mike and work with him the last 4 years. He was a wonderful person.
Always lighthearted and a fun person to be with. I know that he was very respected by his work colleagues and

Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and our hearts go out to Irma, Adam, Jenny and Julia and there families
You loved them all so very much and shared with us their achievements and many, many photos of their families. We felt that we were an extension of clan Fearon and we were so very lucky to have met all of them both here in JB and in Birmingham for your wedding to Irma.
Our lives are all the better for being able to call you a friend, you were generous to a fault and being able to share so many adventures with you was an honour. There will always be a spot in our hearts for you and our Saturday night dinners will never again be the same without you.
Mike, We will raise a glass to you tonight in CP

Our link to Mike is through Jenny and to let you know we are thinking of you Jenny, your family and all those who have lost their friend at this difficult time. Sorry for your loss.
In the mid seventies I opened the door of 26 Newlyn Rd to find a rather smart looking guy. It was obvious by the look on his face that I was not the person he had hoped would open the door but in a very well spoken voice he asked if my sister was in. Sorry mate I replied what’s your name I let her know Mike, Mike Fearon he replied. A weeks later my Sister had wisely dumped her old boyfriend and I had gained a big brother. Sadly today I write to say good bye to someone who looked out for me in so many ways, always there when I ever I needed help. There is so much I could write about this great guy but I will keep it to share with you over a glass of wine. Mike, Thanks for lending me your LPs. I will be listening to something special tonight in your memory. Derek
Warm, witty and thoroughly genuine. A privilege to have shared your company. I trust you are spreading as much humanity in your new world. See you again, my friend.
May the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ears how much you are loved by those you have left. Your family is a circle of love not broken by loss but made stronger by the memories. I will raise my glass and bid farewell- Rest in peace Mike.
Lovely service and wonderful memories. He truly was a generous, fun, warm and kind man. It was a privilege to of known him. I have fond memories of my year in Malaysia and it was made all the better for having Mike around. Back then when Mike arrived there was a small number of us expats in the condo. Being away from home for a year, we all looked out for one another, but no more so than Mike. There are some great memories, especially when Adam and Jenny visited for the first time. You will be sadly missed by many. Thank you for being you. Rest in peace buddy.
Mike was a great man, honourable and fun.
We have many fond memories and he will be greatly missed by us all.
