Family and friends are gathering to acknowledge Chris’ passing, and to celebrate his life.

A service will take place at St Peter’s Church Hall in Inkberrow followed by burial at Westall Park Natural Burial Ground.

After the burial at Westall Park all are warmly invited to come back to St Peter’s Hall for a picnic.

Please see below for directions and further information, and feel free to send any messages to Chris’ family via the form below.

Chris’ Infinite Playlist

Chris’ wish was for his friends and family to gather to eat, drink and listen to music chosen by him and each of you.

Chris’ family will be hosting “Chris’ Infinite Playlist” at home from 7pm on Friday 21st August.
Please let them know your choice of song and be sure to join them on the day.  (You can send your song choices via the comments section below if you wish)

Chris’ family would like everyone to gather at St Peter’s Church Hall at 2pm in order to be together for when the funeral car arrives at 2.30pm. During this time you will be able to write personal messages for Chris if you wish, which can then be placed on his coffin when it arrives.

Address: The postcode for the Church Hall is WR7 4DZ

Inkberrow is on the A422, approximately 14 miles from both Worcester and Stratford-upon-Avon.  It is easily accessible from both the M5 and M40 motorways and lies 20 miles south of Birmingham.

Once inside the village, turn into Church Lane running alongside the village green.  Drive down past the church and turn right into the drive leading to the car park.  From the car park there is a gravel footpath and steps leading to St. Peter’s Church and Hall.

Westall Park is one of the UK’s finest natural burial grounds and aims to create a place which those who wish to remember their loved ones will want to visit, not out of a sense of duty, but from the pleasure and peace of mind it can evoke. Westall Park has created an eco-friendly cemetery as a place for quiet reflection in an informal setting amongst trees, wild flowers and wildlife. Eventually it will become a woodland glade, full of nature where all wildlife is encouraged to thrive.

Address: Holberrow Green, Nr Redditch, Worcestershire, B96 6JY

There is no obligation to wear black. Please come dressed in whichever way you feel comfortable.

Westall Park is however a field, so suitable footwear is advisable.

We’re hoping the sun will shine but be prepared to bring extra clothing appropriate for time outdoors and an umbrella.

Chris’ family would like you to bring a flower or posy that you have cut from your garden.

If you would like to make a donation in Chris’ memory, we will be collecting for St Mary’s Hospice on the day of the funeral. Otherwise you can donate online here: Donations
