Lizzie, although I only met you once at Sue’s 60th birthday, I feel I know you, Jessica and Kate. The four of us – Sue, Sally, Lesley
and me – met at Regent Street Poly many years ago. We’ve been meeting up regularly since and have exchanged news about our lives and families. It was shocking to hear that you were ill at such a young age.
This must be a very difficult time for all concerned but your boys, Alfred and Oliver, I’m sure will bring joy to your family and friends in the years to come.
Thank you Jane for your message – your thoughts are much appreciated. Love Sue
Chris, Alfred and Oliver
We are thinking of you all and sending all our love at this very difficult time. We share with you the wonderful life and memories of Lizzy and what an amazing and courageous woman.
Her memory and spirit lives on.
Much love
Paul and Diane xx
Dear Lizzie,
I will never forget how we met in a queue as we arrived in our first year at Sheffield in 1999!!! We shared many fun times as students. I was so happy when you were able to come to our wedding with your sister in 2009 in Provence. Unfortunately since we haven’t been able to see each other in person, but we have kept in touch. I am so sad that your body was unable to beat this horrid disease which as you know took my brother around the same age too. I know that you will shine down on your 3 boys (Chris, Alfred and Oliver) and your parents and sisters and that you will have given them your strength and love to carry on and grow through the harder times ahead of them.
Sending my sincere condolences to you all, Lizzie’s family, sending you lots of strength and love to help you through the premature loss of your beloved Lizzie (mummy).
Thank you Charlotte for your message. I have nice memories too of coming with Liz to your wedding in France. Your words are very kind. Sending hugs, Jess
To Chris, Alfred and Oliver
Words can not describe how amazing Lizzie was and will always be remembered as. She lit up every room she entered in such an natural way like the sun rise. She had a nature ability to make you feel special and her smile and laugh just made you laugh and smile. She is beautiful inside and out and had a kind and gentle nature, and always had a nice thing to say about everyone.
It was a pleasure to meet and run alongside your wife/mum I feel try blessed to have known her and called Lizzie my friend. Your mum was a strong, courageous and inspirational women, who knew her own mind. My deepest condolences. Love from Dee Cocks Moor Wood Ladies Running Club
