Arrangements for the burial and funeral of Malcolm Geffen
Tuesday 23rd January 2018 at midday.
The burial will take place at Stychbrook Cemetery with refreshments afterwards from 1pm at The Horse and Jockey Pub
A memorial service will also be taking place on Wednesday 24th January in Brentwood for those unable to attend on the 23rd January.
Family and friends are gathering at Stychbrook Cemetery near Lichfield to acknowledge Malcolm’s death, and to celebrate his life.
Refreshments will be served afterwards at The Horse and Jockey Pub,

The ceremony at Stychbrook will take place inside but will then continue outside by the graveside so please come in whatever makes you feel comfortable and especially in warm clothes.
The Woodland area of the cemetery is essentially a field – wellies and umbrellas may also be needed if it has been raining.

As you enter Brentwood from Shenfield you will come to a double mini round about,turn right onto Ongar Road.At the second mini round about take the second exit onto Doddinghurst Road and it’s about 700 hundred yards up on the right.

hi Zak, i’m so sorry for our loss. although i hadn’t seen Malcolm in couple the last time we did talk he’d been doing outstanding in recovery. when i first met malcolm we both were in bad situations but we supported each other either me cutting his hedge or doin tea and some food. i’ve moved back to brentwood from london so only got news of Malcolms passing monday 18th jan 2021.
i was goin to see if he was going to any meetings.

I realise that So many people (mail, text, phone, this page, and probably tomorrow at the burial and after Tomorrow at the ceremony in Brentwood ), apreciated you. They all say you ve helped them and that you loved your children. You and I knew i was going to be so sad, and you knew I was proud of you, but I could nt imagine how much sad and proud i would be. I don t know how long time it would take me but i promise you that one day i ll be happy for you, that day i ll be happy too…

So sorry to hear the sad news, Malcolm. Yes, I also remember those long ‘phone calls we had. One was the night of the elections in USA!! It was good to meet you on those occasions, especially when you had “Wheels” and met us in our local pub in Tottenham. May you Rest In Peace dear friend. May God watch over you. Jasmine. xx

So sad to hear this news Malcolm. Only knew you at school – King Edwards GS, Lichfield, but you left me with great memories of fun and friendship which have remained with me all my life and left its mark with many others. Was hoping to meet up when I come back that way but found this sad news. God Bless you mate and all your family.
