I shall definitely be attending as I taught Peter for 4 years in the 1970’s and have a great admiration for the chap as a pupil, friend and as a great guy.I am looking forward to meeting all those attending who will have fond memories of Peter.Bill Payne
Peter was a wonderful person with a great sense of humour and we shared many good times together when he stayed with me for weekends or I stayed with him sometimes .
I will be there with a heavy heart but wearing a smile, a smile Pete always brought to my face when we had a chat. RIP my friend.
My over riding memory of Peter is his shorts which he seemed wear all year round regardless of the weather! He was a lovely man with a great sense humour and was also very kind to those less fortunate than himself, my deepest condolences to Andrew and the rest of Peter’s family. xx
Remember Peter with fond memories. He was such a good sportsman, Gentleman & Very kind, Friendly.

Mr and Mrs H, Headmaster and wife of Brookland Hall remember Peter as an inspirational figure, for his fearlees diving into the swimming pool, for his determination in his running which earned him a para-olympic medal and for his leadership in standing up for the group of likewise disabled to get them properly adapted carsetc.
Pete was lovely, and he certainly helped me with my fitness issues. He visited me and Jeremy in Scotland, we went running and walking together and had a really good session on how we use our thalidomide bodies differently, and how to get stronger and fitter, great advice, thanks Peter! I shall never forget Pete demonstrating core strength by balancing on a fit-ball at a Thalidomide annual meeting, it was incredible! I will be at his funeral tomorrow.
RIP. Pete x ❤️
