If you would like to do something in Rachael’s memory we will be collecting donations for ‘Solihull Breast Friends’ and ‘Marie Curie Cancer Centre at Solihull.

Donations can either be made online via the following link or via a collection which will be held on the day for both charities at Robin Hood Crematorium.

Rachael was keen that donations went specifically to the Solihull Marie Curie hospice so a collection for this will take place on the day of the funeral.

I am deeply saddened that I will be unable to attend dear Rachael’s funeral as I will be having chemo. However my thoughts and prayers will be with you all as you face this difficult day.
I am grateful beyond measure that our paths in life crossed, as she was a wonderful woman to know. So bright and clever, so kind and thoughtful and just beautiful in every sense. We had so many laughs and good times within the madness that is the school office and yet she brought such a serene calmness and common sense to all our problems!
When the black cloud of cancer came her strength and positivity were amazing. I remember saying that if ever this happened to me she would be my inspiration. And so she is and will remain – my inspiration. Thank you Rach for everything you brought to the Gilbertstone team, but more than that thank you for being you – my inspiration.
    Always in my heart.
