Russ Borrowman- A Life Well Lived
Dear all,
We celebrated Russ’s wonderful life at Bushbury crematorium on October 8.
It was a simple send-off with just a handful of guests due to current restrictions and very little formal ceremony.
For those that couldn’t come, you are welcome to say a few words below or simply remember Russ in your own way.
If you feel you’d like to make a donation, please donate to Compton Hospice, which helped us have a great last few months together on its website here.
We hope to have a proper celebration when circumstances allow, either a walk to a pub or a gathering at home where we can enjoy some wonderful memories of a life well-lived.
Lots of love Mia, Rod and Hana

Please feel free to leave any tributes, words of remembrance and stories about Russ at the bottom of this webpage. (Please note comments are moderated so do not go live immediately)
And in the meantime – here are a few photos to enjoy.
Lovely photos remembering that Russ was much loved and lived a full and worthwhile life. He will be much missed by many.
Russ was such a lovely guy and a great neighbour. He’ll be missed by all the Halls and especially by Ted who still wants to run in and see if Russ will take him out for a walk. Thoughts with Mia, Rod, Hannah and the rest of the family x
Russ was Director of Housing at the time I first got into management. He always had time to say hello and my abiding memory was him taking time out of his day to help me with my Dissertation whilst I was going my degree. Lovel man. Rest in peace Russ
