Arrangements for the funeral of Sally Dew

Thursday 15th October 2020 1.30pm
St Anne’s Church, Moseley, B13 8DT
Sally’s family and friends will be attending a ceremony at St Anne’s Church in Moseley to say goodbye to her.
Sadly, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, funerals are being limited in churches and crematoria, so the service is by invite only.
A short, private cremation service will take place after the church service.
Since not everyone will be able to attend, Sally’s family wanted to share some photos with you via the slideshow below.

Your last words to me “we had some great times”, and my response “we certainly did”. I will miss you Sal, you were one in a million and I have our memories to keep forever.
“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one;
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done;
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways;
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days;
I’d like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave now life is done.
Thanks Sal for such amazing happy memories at Brighton general hospital nurses home from your May 87 friend. We had so much fun and laughter. I am sure you will be entertaining the angles xxx
Sally you influenced so many of us in positive ways. I followed in your footsteps and managed to buy a mini the same colour as yours ! What a brilliant little car ! Happy memories . Sweet dreams xxx
Sally we had fantastic times at the nurses home, at Holland Street and at The Hungry Years. I’m so glad we found you again a few years ago and were able to meet up again and chat on the phone. I will miss you. Much love, Karen xxx

Sally, living next door, you were my first proper friend. We met when we were very young and you were with me through thick and thin.
